AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Food & Beverage Manager
Ironstone Vineyards is looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. This position oversees the banquet, kitchen, deli and weddings departments. Through the direction and coordination of these departments, the Food & Beverage Manager ensures smooth execution and a positive customer experience for all of Ironstone’s events. Requires at least two years of prior food & beverage management experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance along with a 401k, FSA, vacation and sick pay, and employee discounts. Hours and shifts needed will vary. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays. However, our facility is closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. Must have, or be able to obtain, a Manager’s Food Handler’s Certification within 60 days of hire.
Security
This position will provide security for Ironstone Vineyards by enforcing security policies and procedures related to the protection of the facility, and the safety and protection of staff and visitors. This position requires a large amount of walking. Ironstone offers flexible scheduling. Security personnel are asked to work varied hours. Weekends, evening and holiday availability is an important factor in filling this position. This is a part time position. Wage range is $17-$19.
Line Cook
We are currently seeking energetic, friendly personnel for a prep/line cook for our beautiful Murphys venue. Duties will include prepping food in a timely and safely manner, while adhering to all sanitation standards, as well as assisting in preparing our menu items for our deli. Must be available to work Thursday through Sunday, both day and evening shifts. Previous experience is required. There is one full time and one part time position. Must have or be able to obtain a current Food Handler’s Certification. Wage rage is $17 – $19 per hour.
Event Staff
This position efficiently sets up and breaks down furniture, equipment, and tents for facility events including weddings, banquets, and concerts. Service to customers includes buffet style or plated service. Maintains the general cleanliness of the event area. Must be 18 years of age. Requires a valid California State Food Handlers Card. 21 or older also requires a California Responsible Beverage Server certification. This is a part time position with evening and weekend availability required. Wage is $16 + service charges.
Housekeeping
This position supports daily winery operations by ensuring continual cleanliness and housekeeping of the facility and grounds throughout the day. Performs other tasks, as needed, to maintain the assigned area in a clean and orderly fashion. This is a full time position with weekends and some evenings required. This is a full time position with benefits. Wage range is $16-$18.
